During his professional career David has won more national awards than any other UK Magician. David's first major competition victory was in 1994 when he won the prestigious "Magic Circle Close Up Magician of the Year". Over the next decade he continued his competition success by winning the British Magical Championships, The International Brotherhood of Magicians' Close-Up Magician of the Year, The British Champion of Illusion, Luminar Leisure Entertainer of the Year and the Magic Circle Cecil Lyle Award.
David finished first out of all the British acts invited to enter the 'British Close-Up Magic Championships' at the world's largest magic convention in Blackpool. David was also presented with the coveted 'Best of British Award' in recognition of his unrivalled level of performance. David Penn is also proud to be a member of 'Spellbound', the world's premier team of corporate Magicians.
Since winning the title of 'British Champion Of Illusion', David has continued to do the impossible at large scale corporate events.
Recently at the Grosvenor House in London, David made a genuine R22 Helicopter materialise on stage to the amazement of the delegates present.
David was booked to perform his unique style of close-up magic for VIPs and celebrities at the Houses of Parliament.
David is so highly respected in his field of magic that he was awarded "Associate Member of the Inner Magic Circle" and has been called upon to lecture for the International Magic Circle on two separate occasions.
David has been booked to work internationally alongside performers such as Whitney Houston, Enrique Iglesias, Status Quo and Andreas Bocceli and has performed for members of the British Royal family, The Sultan of Brunei, various Heads of State from around the world and international celebrities such as Sir Trevor McDonald, Tony Curtis, Dolly Parton and Jack Nicholson. David has been flown by both corporate and private clients to Australia, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Istanbul, Cannes, Barcelona and Toronto to perform at Trade Shows, Private functions and Gala dinners and he has also had the opportunity of performing in many prestigious venues around the world; most recently on Her Majesty The Queen's private boat.

For a small intimate audience David presents a mostly patter orientated show featuring his famous Electric Chairs routine as well as sawing an unsuspecting member of the audience in half.
When something really spectacular is required, David, his two female assistants and stage crew present an incredible illusion show that would easily be at home in Las Vegas. This show features custom built illusions that are unique to his act alone including Clear Sawing in Half, Vanishing Legs, Fire Table, The Reducer and Clear Metamorphosis.
David has made cars and tractors appear and produced company Managing Directors by magic. David is a Master Illusionist and has been called upon many times to created unique illusions for companies and high profile individuals. Nothing is impossible and the show is only limited by your imagination.

More recently, David made the new T Series tractor magically appear during a conference for Valtra Velmet.
