Most recently, Claire authored a one-hour primetime documentary for ITV1 called Claire Sweeney: My Big Fat Diet. In the film she was given carte blanche to eat what she liked, gaining two stone in just six weeks, in order to show the dramatic effects binge eating and excessive weight gain can have on your body and health. Prior to this she starred in the first ever UK production of the musical Shout! Having enjoyed a successful run on Broadway, this show takes its inspiration from the fabulous hazy days of the swinging 60's, capturing the amazing fashions, sexual liberation and great fun of the times.
Claire was invited into Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother House to be part of the show's most successful run in 2001. She has presented four series of her own Daytime one hour Lifestyle Programme for ITV called 60 Minute Makeover which has been a great success and she has also enjoyed presenting three Live Specials called I'm Famous & Frightened for Living TV.
